So I recently got my new MacBook Pro for school. I just installed VMWare Fusion and Windows XP Pro onto it, only to find out that Internet Explorer 8 now has a 'Compatibility mode'. Now, In case you don't know me enough, would like to state that I have a grudge against IE, as do most web developers. This is because its renderer breaks a lot of rules which the W3C has make a standard in all compliant browsers (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Camino, etc). So, I was about to make my site compatible with IE when I discovered that by default this compatibility mode is turned off, and counterintuitively this makes my site work correctly! Would you believe that microsoft makes it so that when compatibility mode is off, its browser doesn't break the W3C standards? WELL... LOL to that! Ha! Anyways, this is good news. I simply had my site (http://wa.site40.net/rlayne/) let users know to upgrade to IE 8 if they are using an older version, or to switch to a nice browser, listed above.
Good job, Microshit!

Back... again!
I just moved up to seattle for school. I'm pretty much settled in now, sorry for disappearing again! I'll be doing some more work on that airplane, as well as other things. For instance that computer game. I made another model for it. Check it out.

Little progress of yesterday
Yesterday I had other things to do, so I made little progress. I did make important progress, however.
http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/3429/picture130g.png
Changes:
1.) Moved EDF (Ducted Fan) forward
2.) Smoothed out rear body shape
3.) Changed v-stab shape
4.) Modified efflux (exhaust pipe) to create more thrust

Day 3, Canopy progressed
It's day 3 and the canopy is progressing smoothly. As you can see, I've begun to layout the struts for it and the undercarriage that allows streamlined flow from the canopy into the intake.

Changes:
1.) Canopy shape changed slightly to give more of a 'fast' feel to the shape
2.) Canopy method of attachment perfected
3.) Canopy struts drawn

Day off
I spent the day away from my house yesterday to spend time with my girlfriend, whom has now left for 3 weeks on a trip. Today I will be continuing my R/C Plane, so keep checking up.

Day 2, design is looking great
I have been putting a lot of thought into the design of this airplane. Today I focused on the frontal area of the plane, including the canopy and the air intake. In order to maintain smooth aerodynamics as well as optimal air intake, I have been attempting to design a good way to bevel the body's thickness down to the intake. So far so good. The pic below should give you an idea about what I mean.
Changes:
1.) Canopy elongated
2.) Method of attachment from canopy to body beginning to take shape
3.) Intake design taking shape
4.) Exhaust duct narrowed to actual diameter of the engine tunnel
5.) Basic vert stabilizer shape drawn
6.) Side view of plane drawn.
